Proclamation No. 291
EXTENDING UP TO DECEMBER 15, 1951, THE PERIOD FIXED IN PROCLAMATION NO. 271, DATED AUGUST 10, 1951, FOR THE SPECIAL NATION-WIDE CAMPAIGN FOR VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN.
WHEREAS, the period from October 16 to November 15, 1951, was designated under Proclamation No. 271, dated August 10, 1951, for the special nationwide campaign for voluntary contributions for the benefit of children; and
WHEREAS, it appears that additional time is needed for the campaign to be successful;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend up to December 15, 1951, the period designated under Proclamation No. 271 dated August 10, 1951, for the special nation-wide campaign for voluntary contributions for the benefit of children.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
