MALACAÑANG PALACEManila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 433 FIXING THE 19TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1939, AS THE DAY ON WHICH THE AGRICULTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES SHALL BEGIN OPERATIONS. The Auditor General and the General Manager of the Agricultural and Industrial Bank of the Philippines having certified that the aforesaid institution is ready to begin operations; and inasmuch as the early opening of the Agricultural and Industrial Bank will advance the public interest, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the provisions of section two of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and fifty-nine, and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural and Industrial Bank, do hereby proclaim the nineteenth day of August, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine, as the day on which the Agricultural and Industrial Bank of the Philippines shall begin operations.
