PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1307
FURTHER AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1183, AS AMENDED BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1205
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to ease the restrictions on foreign travel;
WHEREAS, in furtherance thereof, it is deemed necessary to expand further the coverage of the provision exempting certain persons from the payment of the travel tax;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the power in me vested by the Constitution do hereby order and decree the following:
Section 1. Section 2 of P.D. No. 1183 a amended by section 2 of P.D. 1205 is hereby further amended by adding a new paragraph after paragraph "1" thereof which shall read as follows:
"m) Persons whose travel is provided for funded by foreign governments with which the Philippine Government maintains diplomatic relations."
Section 2. All acts, decrees, executive orders, administrative orders rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of this Decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
