Extension of Surrender Period for Unlicensed Firearms, Ammunition, and Explosives
- Extends the effectivity of Sections 3, 4, and 5 of Presidential Decree No. 1745, as amended, which allows the surrender of unlicensed or loose firearms, ammunition, or explosives without incurring criminal liability. (Section 1)
- The surrender period is extended until December 31, 1982. (Section 1)
- Individuals who surrender unlicensed firearms, ammunition, or explosives can apply for a license to possess them if qualified, or sell them to qualified entities or individuals if not qualified. (Sections 4 and 5 of Presidential Decree No. 1745, as amended)
- All rules and regulations for implementing Sections 3, 4, and 5 of Presidential Decree No. 1745, as amended, are made applicable to this Executive Order. (Section 2)
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately. (Section 3)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 758 December 31, 1981 FURTHER EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVITY OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVENTEEN HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE DATED NOVEMBER 20, 1980, AS AMENDED BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVENTEEN HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN, DATED DECEMBER 4, 1980 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED NINETY, DATED MAY 11, 1981 WHEREAS, Sections 3, 4 and 5 of Presidential Decree No. 1745, dated November 20, 1980, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 1747, dated December 4, 1980 and Executive Order No. 690, dated May 1, 1981, provides for the surrender of unlicensed or loose firearm, ammunition or explosive without incurring criminal liability therefor, with the privilege of applying for license to possess the same, if qualified, and if not to sell the same to qualified entities or individuals; WHEREAS, pursuant to the aforestated Decree, as amended, the surrender of loose firearm, ammunition or explosive with the accompanying privileges ceased to be effective on December 31, 1981; WHEREAS, there are numerous requests for the extension of the effectivity of the aforementioned Section of Presidential Decree No. 1745, as amended so that...
