Proclamation No. 635
GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE APPROVAL BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF SECTIONS ONE AND FOUR OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED AND THREE.
In accordance with the provisions of section 6 of Commonwealth Act No. 503, entitled "An Act to amend certain sections of the National Internal Revenue Code," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby give public notice of the approval of sections 1 and 4 of said Commonwealth Act No. 503 by the President of the United States on September 21, 1940, as provided in section 2, subsection (a), paragraph 9 of the Act of Congress of March 24, 1934, as amended.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done at the City of Manila, this sixteenth day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the fifth.
