Provisions:

- Filipino overseas contract workers with approved employment contracts and duly certified by the Ministry of Labor and Employment are exempted from paying the travel tax under Presidential Decree No. 1183, as amended. (Section 1)
- All laws, executive orders, rules, regulations, issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 2)
- This Executive Order takes effect immediately. (Section 3)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 25 July 1, 1986 GRANTING EXEMPTION FROM THE PAYMENT OF THE TRAVEL TAX TO FILIPINO OVERSEAS CONTRACT WORKERS WHEREAS, Filipino overseas contract workers have been a major source of foreign exchange for the country; WHEREAS, already saddled by the expenses attendant to their job applications, these workers are further financially burdened by the travel tax imposed on them; WHEREAS, considering the contribution of these workers to the economic development of the country, it is only proper and just that the government ease them of the said additional financial burden. NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order: Sec. 1. Filipino overseas contract workers with approved employment contracts and duly certified by the Ministry of Labor and Employment are hereby exempted from the payment of the travel tax under Presidential Decree No. 1183, as amended. Sec. 2. All laws, executive orders, rules and regulations, issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly. Sec. 3.
