Increase in Bed Capacity of Caraga Regional Hospital
- The authorized bed capacity of the Caraga Regional Hospital in Barangay Washington, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte is increased from 150 to 500 beds. (Section 1)
- The increase in bed capacity shall be implemented consistent with the hospital's development plan. (Section 2)

Upgrade of Service Facilities and Professional Health Services
- The existing service facilities and professional health services of the hospital shall be upgraded and increased to conform with the increase in bed capacity. (Section 3)

Additional Plantilla Positions
- The Department of Health (DOH), in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC), and in consultation with the hospital management, shall determine the additional plantilla positions to be created and filled up in the hospital's workforce. (Section 4)

Hospital Development Plan
- The hospital chief shall develop a hospital development plan to be submitted to the DOH, reflecting the hospital's development goals, consistent with the increase in bed capacity and service capability. (Section 5)
- Requests for staffing requirements, capital outlay investments, and budgetary needs for operations shall be based on the hospital development plan. (Section 5)

Funding and Implementation
- The DOH Secretary shall include the implementation of this Act in the Department's programs, and the funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 6)

Separability Clause and Repealing Clause
- If any provision of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 7)
- Republic Act No. 8255 is hereby amended accordingly, and all laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 8)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 9)
