Increasing Bed Capacity of Ilocos Sur District Hospital-Magsingal
- The authorized bed capacity of the Ilocos Sur District Hospital-Magsingal (ISDHM) is increased from twenty-five (25) to one hundred (100) beds. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of the Hospital and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)

Upgrading of Professional Health Care Services and Facilities
- The existing professional health care services and facilities of the ISDHM shall be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity. (Section 2)

Increase in Workforce
- The existing workforce of the ISDHM, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, shall be increased correspondingly. (Section 3)
- The DOH Secretary, in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management Secretary and the Civil Service Commission Chairperson, and after consultation with the Chief of Hospital, shall determine the additional new positions to be created and filled up. (Section 3)

Funding and Appropriations
- The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur shall provide the necessary funds to cover the maintenance and other operating expenses of the ISDHM. (Section 4)
- The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur shall appropriate funds for the human resource complement to support the increase in bed capacity and the corresponding upgrading of service facilities and professional health care services. (Section 4)
- The DOH Secretary shall include in the Department's subsidy program, support for the capital outlay requirements of the ISDHM. (Section 4)

Separability Clause
- If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 5)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 6)

Effectivity Clause
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 7)
