Increasing Bed Capacity of Davao Regional Medical Center
- The authorized bed capacity of the Davao Regional Medical Center in Tagum City, Davao del Norte is increased from 600 to 1000 beds. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of Hospital and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)

Upgrading Facilities and Services
- The existing professional health care services and facilities shall be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity. (Section 2)

Increasing Workforce
- The existing workforce, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, shall be increased correspondingly. (Section 3)

Additional Positions and Staffing
- The DOH Secretary, after consultation with the Chief of Hospital, and in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission, shall determine the additional new positions to be created. (Section 4)

Funding and Implementation
- The DOH Secretary shall immediately include the implementation of this Act in the Department's program, and the funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 5)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 6)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 7)
