REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11890
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE TERESITA LOPEZ JALANDONI PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF SILAY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL FROM ONE HUNDRED (100) TO THREE HUNDRED (300) BEDS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1.The authorized bed capacity of the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital located in the City of Silay, Province of Negros Occidental, is hereby increased from one hundred (100) to three hundred (300) beds. Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan that shall be prepared by the Chief of Hospital of the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital, and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH).
SECTION 2.The existing professional health care services and facilities of the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital shall also be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity as provided for in Section 1 hereof.

Increasing Bed Capacity of Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital
- The authorized bed capacity of the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, Negros Occidental is increased from 100 to 300 beds. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the Chief of Hospital and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)
Upgrading Facilities and Services
- The existing professional health care services and facilities shall be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity. (Section 2)
Increasing Workforce
- The existing workforce, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, shall be increased correspondingly. (Section 3)
Funding and Appropriations
- The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental shall provide funds for maintenance, operating expenses, additional human resources, and upgrading of facilities and services. (Section 4)
- The DOH Secretary shall include support for the capital outlay requirements of the hospital in the Department's subsidy programs. (Section 5)
Repealing Inconsistent Laws
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 6)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 7)
