Fixing the Value of the Canadian Dollar

MALACAÑANGManila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 254 PUBLISHING THE VALUE OF THE CANADIAN DOLLAR FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION OF DUTY. Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Republic Act No. 77 and upon the recommendation of the Undersecretary of Finance, the value of the Canadian dollar is hereby fixed at ₱1.923124, Philippine currency, which is equivalent to $.961562, United States currency. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
