RESERVING FOR MILITARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MANILA PORT AREA, DISTRICT OF INTRAMUROS, CITY OF MANILA, ISLAND OF LUZON.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonweatlh Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I, hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for military purposes, under the administration of the Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the Manila Port Area, District of Intramuros, City of Manila, Island of Luzon, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-542, to wit:
Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-452, S. 57° 16 W. 1,431.23 m., more or less, from Binondo Church spire, City of Manila, and S. 83° 36 W. 1,418.80 m., more or less, from fire hydrant No. 28, City of...

Reserving for Military Purposes a Parcel of the Public Domain
- Pursuant to Section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, the President withdraws from sale or settlement and reserves for military purposes the following parcel of public domain:
• Located in the Manila Port Area, District of Intramuros, City of Manila, Island of Luzon
• Described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-542
• Boundaries and technical description provided in the proclamation (Section 1)
• Containing an area of 2,321.90 square meters
• Subject to private rights, if any
• To be administered by the Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army (Section 1)
The proclamation is signed by President Manuel L. Quezon on April 29, 1938, and countersigned by the Secretary to the President, Jorge B. Vargas.
