Proclamation No. 44

RESERVING FOR PARK PURPOSE A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA LIBERTAD, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL, ISLAND OF NEGROS.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for park purposes, under the administration of the municipal council of La Libertad, Negros Oriental, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain situated in the Municipality of La Libertad, Province of Oriental Negros, island of Negros, and more particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Psu-96594, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Psu-96594, S. 57ْ 45 E. 16.75 m. more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of La Libertad, thence S. 63ْ 01 E. 146.48 m. to point 2; S. 34ْ 46 W. 24.84 m. to...

Reserving for Park Purpose a Parcel of Land in La Libertad, Negros Oriental

- Pursuant to Section 81 of Act No. 2874, as amended, the President withdraws from sale or settlement and reserves for park purposes the following parcel of public domain land in La Libertad, Negros Oriental:

• A parcel of land described in Bureau of Lands plan Psu-96594, with an area of 23,796 square meters.
• The land is bounded by General Luna Street (northeast), properties of Pastor Salimbagat, Narciso Absin, Pantaleon Absin, and Emilio Aguinaldo Street (proposed) (southeast), properties of Luis Dionaldo and Abdon Alpuerto (southwest), and a provincial road (northwest).
• The land is reserved for park purposes under the administration of the municipal council of La Libertad, Negros Oriental, subject to private rights, if any.
• The specific metes and bounds of the land are described in detail, including bearings, distances, and monument markers.

- The Proclamation is signed by President Manuel L. Quezon on March 5, 1936, and countersigned by Secretary of the Interior Elpidio Quirino.
