Physical Examination of Trainee Registrants:

• Those not meeting the standards but free from defects may be placed in Class II - "Fit for limited service only" for special assignments. (Section 1a)
• Procedures for examining various body parts are outlined, including checking for hernias, genital issues, heart and lung conditions, joint mobility, vision, and hearing. (Sections 1b-1k)
• Causes for physical exemption are listed, including mental disorders, skin diseases, ear issues, eye problems, mouth/nose/throat deformities, neck issues, chest diseases, abdominal conditions, anus problems, and genito-urinary diseases. (Section 1l)

MALACAÑAN PALACEManila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 69 RULES AND REGULATIONS PRESCRIBING THE METHOD AND PROCEDURE OF SELECTION OF TRAINEES FOR MILITARY SERVICE Pursuant to the provisions of section fifty-five of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, entitled "The National Defense Act," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby provide and promulgate the following rules and regulations prescribing the method and procedure of selection of trainees for military service: PHYSICAL EXAMINATION OF TRAINEE REGISTRANTS 1. They physical examination should take place in a large, well-lighted room. The person to be examined is to be stripped. The examining physician should proceed in substantially the following order, viz: (a) Observe the general condition of the skin, scalp, and chest. Take weight, height, and chest measurements.
