Dwelling house where a husband and wife, or an unmarried head of a family resides, and the land on which it is situated, which is now deemed constituted from the time it is occupied as a family residence, and is exempt from executio​n, forced sale or attachmen​t except as provided by law and to the extent of the value allowed by law.
