November 16, 2001BIR MEMORANDUMTO:Deputy Commissioners Assistant Commissioners Regional Directors Revenue District Officers Division Chiefs and All Others Concerned Pursuant to Section 490 of the Government Accounting and Auditing Manual Volume I, you are hereby reminded that the Annual Physical Inventory Report of Equipment which include equipment, furniture & fixtures, computers, vehicles, building and structures, land and improvement, acquired assets, etc. as of December 31, 2001 is required to be submitted to the Auditor not later than January 31, 2002. All properties in the custody of your Office shall be listed down in General Form No. 13. You are therefore directed to accomplish said form by filling up all spaces provided for especially the unit value, serial number, and property/BIR number. Likewise, the Regional Inventory Sub-Committee shall certify to the correctness of the inventories of the revenue regions and district offices to be attested by the Regional Auditor. Equipment recorded in the books of accounts of the Regional Office should be listed in a separate General Form No. 13 and should be submitted to the Regional...
