January 30, 2017BIR MEMORANDUMTO:Regional Directors  Assistant Regional Directors  All Concerned   SUBJECT:Composition of the Regional Selection Board under Revenue Memorandum Order No. 68-2016 The designated Chairperson of the Regional Selection Board (RSB) under Revenue Memorandum Order No. 68-2016 is the Assistant Regional Director (ARD). In instances, however, where no ARD has been designated or the ARD is on leave or for whatever reason where the ARD is absent on the day of the RSB deliberations, the Regional Director (RD) shall act as the Chairman of the RSB. CAIHTEIn cases where the Regional Director acted as the Chairperson of the RSB, the RD shall then sign the appointment as the Chairperson of the RSB while it shall be the Commissioner of Internal Revenue who shall sign the appointment as the appointing authority.For your information, guidance and strict compliance. (SGD.)
