1997REVENUE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 3-97SUBJECT : Creation of TIN Card Production Office at the National OfficeI . OBJECTIVE:This Order aims to implement effectively the provisions of RR No. 2 — 96 on the issuance of TIN Cards by formally creating a TIN Card Production Office and defining the functions of the said office.II . POLICIES:To achieve this objective, the following are hereby promulgated:A. A TIN Card Production Office is hereby created under the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Information Systems Operations Service (ISOS) to process TIN Card applications and produce the plastic TIN Card- specified in RR No. 2-96.B. The existing TIN Coordinating Section shall form part of this office. cdrepC. This Office shall exist until the plastic TIN Card production is devolved to the Information Systems Units (ISUs).III . FUNCTIONS:The TIN Card Production Office shall perform the following functions:1. Relative to Revenue District Offices implementing the Integrated Tax System (ITS) and are covered by the implementation of the plastic TIN Card:1.1. Screen TIN Card capture forms received from the Revenue District Offices (RDOs);1.2. Interface...
