Encoding of Correct Tax Type to the Limited Bank Data Entry System

October 18, 2016BANK BULLETIN NO. 28-16TO:All BIR Authorized Agent Banks   SUBJECT:Encoding of Correct Tax Type to the Limited Bank Data Entry System It has been observed that there are some Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) that are encoding invalid tax and form types in the Limited Bank Data Entry System (LBDES) resulting to the non-uploading of collection reports to this Bureau's internal systems.In view thereof, and in order to ensure that the correct tax and form types are properly encoded in the LBDES, all AABs are hereby advised to update the BIR forms in the forms codes table under the LBDES following the procedures below: HTcADC1. Request a soft copy of FORM.DBF file from the Systems Development Division (SDD) through email address at [email protected].2. Save the soft copy of FORM.DBF in the Desktop. It shall be ensured that the LBDES is closed before saving the copy of the said file.3. Copy the FORM.DBF file to C:\de011\DATA folder and click "Yes" when asked to overwrite the file.4. Open the Utilities -> Update Codes Table -> Forms...
