Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from MAXIMUM SAVINGS BANK, INC., with Head Office address at #24 Antonio A. Pastor Bldg., P. Burgos St., Brgy. 16 (Pob.), Batangas City in payment of internal revenue taxes. This is conformity with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Monetary Board Resolution No. 1704.C dated November 7, 2019 prohibiting the subject bank from doing business in the Philippines and placing it under receivership with the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) as the designed receiver, as stated in the letter dated November 8, 2019 of Atty. Nilo Aldrin M. Lucinario, Vice-President, Receivership and Bank Management Group of PDIC.
