June 15, 2012BANK BULLETIN NO. 16-12TO:All BIR Authorized Agent Banks   SUBJECT:New Rural Bank of Tagkawayan, Inc. Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept NEW RURAL BANK OF TAGKAWAYAN, INC. checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter of Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) dated May 18, 2012 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the issuance of Monetary Board Resolution No. 772.A dated May 17, 2012 which prohibited NEW RURAL BANK OF TAGKAWAYAN, INC. with Head Office address at Lagdameo Blvd., Tagkawayan, Quezon from doing business in the Philippines and placed the same under receivership with the PDIC as the designated Receiver.
