Retrieval of Tax Returns

February 23, 2017BANK BULLETIN NO. 05-17TO:All BIR Authorized Agent Banks   SUBJECT:Retrieval of Tax Returns It has come to the attention of this Office that some District Offices do not regularly pick-up the Batch Control Sheet (BCS) and the copies of tax returns as well as their applicable attachments from Authorized Agent Bank (AAB) branches. In fact, there are some AAB branches that reported existence of significant number of unretrieved tax returns that are still in their possessions for more than three (3) months reckoned from the date of actual filing of these returns by concerned taxpayers with the AAB branches. Relative to this, all AABs are hereby advised to inform this Office, thru The Chief, Collection Performance Monitoring Division, Room 804, 8th Floor, BIR National Office Building, Agham Road, Diliman, Quezon City, for the list of Revenue District Offices that failed to physically retrieve the copies of the daily BCS and the filed tax returns and attachments on a regular basis from any of your respective bank branch.
