December 14, 1995GENERAL SANTOS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 001-96AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE 1996 REVENUE CODE OF THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOSBe it ordinated by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City, that:CHAPTER IGeneral ProvisionsARTICLE AShort Tittle and ScopeSECTION 1. Short Title. — This ordinance shall be known as "THE GENERAL SANTOS CITY REVENUE CODE OF 1996."SECTION 2. Scope. — This ordinance shall govern the levy, assessment and collection of taxes, fees, charges, and other, impositions within the jurisdiction of the City of General Santos.It shall apply to all persons engaged in any occupation or business, or exercising privileges within the City, the imposition of fees and charges for services rendered in connection with any business and occupation being conducted therein; and all acts and transactions performed or to be carried out within its territorial limits, irrespective whether they are temporary, transitory or partly being done in another city, province, municipality or jurisdiction, and upon which acts or transactions, taxes, fees or charges shall be levied, by virtue thereof, for local public purposes.ARTICLE BDefinition of Terms and...
